John and Betty's Bromeliads

After sharing 25 years together, John (94), and Betty ( ) were married 2 years ago in their Canberra home. They wanted to elope but John's daughter found out as they needed a witness to sign the register, and so the quiet 2 grew into a wedding crew. The blooming Bromeliads were the younger generation's wedding gift for John and Betty and it has bloomed on their wedding anniversary for the last 2 years. John and Betty's commitment to each other inspires me every time I get to visit them.
